The Korean Society of Applied Pharmacology (KSAP) was founded in 1992 with the goal of "contributing to promoting new drug development" and aims to lead the creation of innovative new drugs through organic cooperation among members.
The society holds two conferences a year in spring and fall to promote information exchange. The society's official journal, Biomolecules & Therapeutics, has been making progress, such as being listed in SCIE in 2008 and achieving the 25% level of JCR ranking in the field of pharmacology in 2021. In addition, since 2019, we have established and conducted the <New Drug Development Expert Training Program> to deliver practical basic/business knowledge to graduate students who wish to enter the pharmaceutical industry and practitioners of new drug development in industry-academia relations in their research and development.
By building a more active network of researchers and more frequent exchange of knowledge through several programs, we are contributing to the development of new drugs for K-pharma.
I wish you and your family good health, prosperity, and happiness in this year ahead of us.
Thank you very much.
